YARG is a progression oriented raiding guild. We raid from 8:00PM Server time to 11:00PM Server time, Sunday-Thursday. That is 15 hours of active raiding time per week, and we try to make full use of it. We always try to work on the next thing and execute it cleanly, be it hardmodes we have yet to defeat, old achievements for Raiders, or whatever the latest patch brings.

We are only looking for long term members. If you are committed to this game and to always playing at the very cutting edge of what your character is capable of, YARG may be the place for you. The officers try to only accept the best applicants, because we want to continue to build upon our tight knit core of very talented players. Raids always work best and are the most fun, when no one is being "carried".

Our members are expected to stay up to date on the latest theorycraft for their classes and be familiar with all boss encounters. Full consumables are always in use while raiding.

While it is not neccessary for applicants to have all best-in-slot gear, your choice of gear, gems, spec and enchants does say alot about your knowledge and preparation. When applying, please try to always log out in your raiding gear and talent spec so we can review it via the armory.

You need to be familiar enough with addons to be able to install and use them quickly and efficiently depending on your raid role. Pally Power, Decursive, ORA2, Failbot, DBM/BigWigs, all may be requested at some point. We also use Ventrilo during raids; we require that all applicants be able to use vent properly (meaning you can hear us AND speak when appropriate).

We do not have an "application form" per se. Please visit our YARG Forums and post an application in the appropriate section. Be creative and complete, make a good first impression. If you want to see examples of what we expect, look at apps posted in the forum by people with Green usernames (that means they were accepted).
